Introduction to Sonography

Sonography uses high-frequency sound waves to create real-time images of internal organs, tissues, and blood flow.

Types of Sonography:

• Abdominal Ultrasound: Liver, kidneys, pancreas, gallbladder.
• Obstetric & Gynecological Ultrasound: Pregnancy monitoring, uterus & ovary evaluation.
• Cardiac (Echocardiography): Heart function and structure.
• Musculoskeletal Ultrasound: Joints, muscles, tendons.
• Doppler Ultrasound: Blood flow, vascular conditions.
